The Merseysiders made their fifth permanent
major signing of the summer on Wednesday morning in the person of Ragner Klanavan.The 30 year old joined the reds on a three year deal for a sum of 4.2 million pounds and would fly out with the squad very early on Thursday morning.
He passed his medicals at Melwood on Wednesday morning.
Klanavan is a direct replacement for departed Kolo Toure. He is very good in the air and has a very good left foot.
