Hon Paul Evans Aidoo( Western Regional Minister and MP for Sefwi-Wiawso) and his likes must apologize to Nana Addo and the entire people of the Western North
In his recent campaign tour to the Western Region, Nana Addo made a promise to create a new region out of the Western Region based on numerous reasons already in the public domain.
In their quest to water down the impact this profound promise is having on the electoral fortunes of the NPP,members of this NDC government described it as divisive,kneel jerk ,gimmick and made all sort of mockery of it.
After listening to the NDC manifesto highlight by the president last night,where he hinted an intended creation of additional five regions when given another four year mandate.
We believe this concession by the president and the NDC as a party sharply contradicts the description and attacks that greeted similar vision espoused by Nana Addo.
The description and attacks particularly by Hon Paul Evans Aidoo, Mr koku Anyidoh,Hon Sampson Who and Hon Mintah Akando were misleading, deceptive and indeed meant to score cheap political points.
The people of Western North therefore deserve an unqualified apology from these people if indeed they have some respect for them.
